What Scouts do

Scouts in the UK empower young people aged 4-25 with skills for life through fun and adventure. Activities include camping, hiking, and teamwork,
helping members build confidence, resilience, and leadership. Scouts also give back to communities through service projects, promoting friendship, inclusion, and personal growth. Supported by volunteers, Scouts inspire positive change and prepare for life’s challenges.
Through a wide range of programs, Scouts learn problem-solving, outdoor survival, and practical skills, such as cooking and first aid. They also tackle global issues like climate change and mental health, developing awareness and empathy. With over half a million members, Scouts create lifelong memories and friendships while making a real difference locally and globally.
Scouts meet on a Wednesday evening 7pm till 9pm
